Author Jack Turner Speaks on "Wilderness Explored"
WWA hosted prominent Jackson outdoor writer Jack Turner on November 8th
Sheridan College. Turner discussed his writing and his extensive
“wildness.” WWA is grateful for the sponsors who made this event
possible. Thanks also to Jack and all who showed up to hear his
contemplative and inspiring words!

Conversations about these important issues are confronting
misconceptions and leading to a new era of wilderness preservation in

Wilderness Week 2010 - Washington, D.C.
In September 2010, WWA took 4 staff and 5 volunteers to Washington D.C. to attend workshops from Campaign for Americas Wilderness. The WWA group meet with Wyoming’s two U.S. Senators and lone U.S. Representative. From the Campaign for America's Wilderness, Pew Environment Group.
